(FRANKLIN, Tenn.) May 20, 2016 – The Farmers Market at Berry Farms will officially kick off its second seasonal farmers market with a Strawberry Festival on May 24, 2016 from 2:00-6:00 PM. The Farmers Market at Berry Farms will operate every Tuesday from 2:00-6:00 PM, now through September 27th. Berry Farms is located at the intersection of Lewisburg Pike and Goose Creek Bypass, and the Farmers Market at Berry Farms will be located at that intersection.

The Strawberry Festival, sponsored by First Farmers Bank, is a family-friendly community-wide event and is free to the public. There will be live music from LaTresa & the Signal, a petting zoo, bounce house, face painting and homemade strawberry shortcakes featuring biscuits from FireFlour, local berries from our farmers and whipped cream from Hatcher Family Dairy. Farm merchants include Gardner Grove Family Farms, Harris Farm, Hanna Holler Farm, Hatcher Family Dairy, Katharos Farm, Rosson Orchard & Farm, and Virginia’s Orchard & Farm. A wide range of local produce, meats, milk, eggs, and fresh baked goods will be available.

Other merchants include Bluegrass Kettle Masters of Nashville, Bones N Waffles, Ellie’s Old Fashioned Donuts, FireFlour, Just Because, Maggie’s V Sweets, Padrinos Pops, The Barkers Market, The Olive Tree Bakery, Virgin Bay Seafood and Whit’s Frozen Custard.
