Dorothy said it first, or, at least, she made the saying famous. An adventure’s always great fun, minus the flying monkeys, but going home is what we eventually long for. Home is where we relax, spend time with friends and family, and recharge for our next big adventure – or the next day at work. Our home is a reflection of who we are and what we love. We should all be so blessed to love our home.

In Berry Farms we have beautiful spaces that become special places called Home. In a series of spotlights, I would like to introduce you to the builders in our community. First in the series is FORD CUSTOM CLASSIC HOMES.

Ford Home2
If you have lived in Williamson County for any amount of time, you are probably familiar with Ford Homes. Mike Ford started the company 22 years ago and has built over 900 homes here. He has built a business focused on unmatched value, architectural distinction, honesty and integrity, a passion for quality, and proven customer service. Ford has built homes in Williamson County’s finest neighborhoods and we are proud to have them in Berry Farms.

In the current building phase, FORD CUSTOM CLASSIC HOMES has 8 lots left with a wide variety of modern yet distinctly southern floorplans to choose from. All include covered front and side porches, main level master suites, gourmet kitchens and much more. Homes range from 2,700 SF to 3,500 SF and prices start at $500,000.00. Sharon Tucker, the on-site Sales Manager, will greet you at the model home with a glass of sweet tea and a southern Mississippi drawl and help you find the perfect lot for your “special place”.

FORD Massey homeCindy and Tim Massey agree with Dorothy. “We moved to Berry Farms last fall and we absolutely love the community. After looking at several homes we chose FORD and… we could not be more pleased. FORD pays close attention to detail which is obvious the minute you walk into our foyer. The crown molding, spacious closets and bedrooms work beautifully for us. With the opening of our new favorite restaurant, Tito’s and Whit’s Frozen Custard we are on Cloud 9. When Publix gets here we may never leave the neighborhood.” Dorothy would be pleased.

In Berry Farms you can step off your FORD CUSTOM CLASSIC HOME’S front porch onto the yellow brick road (ok – it isn’t brick or yellow) and stroll to The Nail Parlor, dinner and drinks at Tito’s or Umi, pick up some libations at the corner Wine & Spirits store, or enjoy the Whit’s Frozen Custard flavor of the week then clap your heals together and say “There’s No Place Like Home”.
